Local Recycling during the Festive Season:
1.Bottle Banks and Aluminium Bank (cans) at Supervalu./2 Aluminium cans/Plastic Bottles in Oxigen Bin
2.Glass Bottles at Lucan Harriers Athletic Track
3.If you have to use batteries use rechargeable ones.
Send in used stamps to school. We pass them on to I.P.C.C. (Irish Peatland Conservation Council.)
Lost Property: Please check the box outside the office for lost property. There are a number of coats, scarves, hats, gloves and tracksuit tops and other items for collection. If not claimed these will be sent to the charity shop before Christmas.
Christmas Gifts: We acknowledge the pressure on parents regarding gifts, in our school booklet each year, and I am reminding you now that saying thank youto staff is a sufficient gift to give to any of us, and is much appreciated by all of us.
Formal Registration of Junior Infants for September 2020 will take place in the school on Monday 27th, Tuesday 28th, and Wednesday 29th January 2020 from 10.00 am to 12.o’clock.
A copy of your child’s birth certificates along with the child’s P.P.S. No. and a house utility bill will be required on the day of enrolment. Enrolment to the school is subject to the school’s enrolment policy, which has recently been updated, and is available to read on the school website.
Lucan Lions Club: Thanks to Lucan Lions Club for their assistance this Christmas with families in need in our school community.
Christmas Closing Times: Christmas Holidays begin on Friday 20th December.
Junior & Senior Infants to be collected at 11.50am 1st & 2nd classes at 12.o’clock.
School reopens on Monday 6th January.
