Formal Registration of Junior Infants for September 2019 will take place in the school on Monday 28^th, Tuesday 29^th, and Wednesday 30^thJanuary 2019 from 10.00am to 12.o’clock.

A copy of your child’s birth certificates along with the child’sP.P.S. No. and a house utility bill will be required on the day of enrolment. Enrolment to the school is subject to the school’s enrolment policy, which is available to peruse on the school website listed above.

H.S.E. has informed us that the vaccinations (4 in 1 and MMR) for Junior Infants will take place on Monday 4^th & Tuesday 5^th February.

Primary Care Child Psychology Service are hosting s series of workshops for parents in local libraries. Starting in Lucan library on Friday 1^st February 2019 10am -11.30am “Managing Meltdowns & Helping Your Child Behave Well” and Friday 1^st March 2019 10am – 12pm “Helping Children Who Worry Too Much” . Both Workshops are for parents only and are free to attend. If interested in attending please ring 01-6216422.

Parent / Teacher Meetings: These will take place after school on Wednesday 6^th andThursday 7^thFebruary. Junior and Senior Infants go home at normal time,

1^st & 2^nd classes to be collected at 2.20pm on both of those two days.

Class teachers will send home notification of individual meeting times closer to the actual date.

First Confession/First Communion: An important night meeting for parents/guardians to outline the sacramental programme in the school and parish will be held in St. Thomas’ JNS on Wednesday 30^th January at 7pm ( parents only ).We will also be giving out practical information regarding the format of the First Confession and First Communion ceremonies.

First Confession takes place on Wednesday 13^th February in St. Patricks Church Esker at 7pm.

School Closure: School will be closed on Friday 15^th February for staff training in PLC Gaeilge. Mid Term break: Monday 18^th to Friday 22^nd February inclusive.
