Dear Parents/ Guardians,

Some news from the classrooms

Room 19 is learning all about the Titanic. Ms. Nic Suibhne is teaching the children about Morse Code and the children had great fun decoding some messages sent from the Titanic.

We have been learning about Walt Disney and the children are designing their own cartoon strips.

In the other photos the children are working hard during maths activity time!

Well done to all our pupils and parents who participated in our Jingle Bells WOW during Christmas week in school!

Guzzler Energy workshops

Some of our pupils in Senior Infants took part in Guzzler Energy workshops last week facilitated by Global Action through SEAI. The children met Guzzler, who loves to waste Energy. They partook in games and activities to learn where Energy comes from, covering STEM in our curriculum. Guzzler workshops are an annual event in our school and we would like to thank our facilitator Roisin O Connor for running this workshop.
