Green Schools Global Citizenship Survey As part of our Green Schools programme we are carrying out an Awareness Survey on Global Citizenship with our pupils. The class teachers will be carrying out this survey with their classes. Prior to this class exercise, we have attached the survey to this newsletter for you all to go through as a family. You will see that there are questions that your child will not be able to answer unless he asks at home. Please note- you do not have to fill anything on this document- just tell your child… eg-Yes, we go to the Charity shop once a year etc The survey will then be done in school and teacher will fill in data from the children’s feedback. This survey will be recast again later in the programme to measure awareness. Many thanks to you all for this and many thanks to Ms. Power for her work in leading this.

Christmas Carol Service/ Saint Vincent de Paul Christmas Donations We will be holding a short Christmas Carol service in St Patrick’s church on the 14th of December at 11:15 (time subject to change should urgent parish needs arise). Children will sing carols and read Christmas poems. Please feel free to dress the children in Santa hats or Christmas jumpers. In the spirit of giving, we will also be collecting non-perishable foods to donate to St Vincent de Paul. We encourage all children to bring in something or whatever families can give at this time to donate for St Vincent de Paul. It is a great opportunity for children to experience giving to others. All non-perishable, store cupboard items, such as biscuits, pasta, dry grains, tins, boxed/packaged foods are suitable. The school will be collecting the items from tomorrow right up until the 14th of December. The charity of St Vincent De Paul has a profound impact helping families in our local community and needs all the support we can give in their annual appeal. The school will be presenting the donations to representatives from the St. Vincent de Paul on the day.

Parents Association Thank you to everyone who supported our Parents Association Pajamas fundraising day last Friday. €984 was collected. The Parents Association are very thankful for your support.

County Photos will collect all returned proof cards on Thursday 30th November.
