Dear Parents/Guardians
Formal Registration of Junior Infants for September 2020 will take place in the school on Monday 27th, Tuesday 28th, and Wednesday 29th January 2020 from 10.00am to 12.o’clock.
A copy of your child’s birth certificates along with the child’s P.P.S. No. and a house utility bill will be required on the day of enrolment. Enrolment to the school is subject to the school’s enrolment policy, which has recently been updated, and is available to read on the school website.
H.S.E.: Vision testing for Junior Infants started today Thursday 16th and will continue on Thursday 30th January. Vaccinations (4 in 1 and MMR) for Junior Infants will take place on Monday 3rd & Tuesday 4th February.
Parent / Teacher Meetings: This year we will be providing the facility to book your appointment time online. Information sheet on same going home next week with log-in details.
Our meetings will take place after school on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th February
(with the exception of Ms. Olwill’s class).
Junior and Senior Infants go home at normal time.
1st & 2nd classes to be collected at 2.20pm on both of those two days.
General Election: Over the next three weeks please ensure our candidates are fully aware of the urgency required to bring our school building project to fruition, after a long and frustrating wait.
We hope to have our new architects appointed by the beginning of February.
Thanks: To parents Anthony and Jamie Egerton (Sophie: R: 18) for organising a donation of €250 to the school through Bank of Ireland nomination scheme.
Punctuality: Please have your child in line in the morning, for ‘5 to 9’. Some children are missing the most important part of the school day and it impacts negatively on their education over time.
School Closure: School will close at 12pm on Friday 14th February for staff in-service training. Mid-Term break takes place from Monday 17th to Friday 21st February inclusive
