Special Visitor: The school will have it’s own special visitor coming to meet all pupils tomorrow Friday 14^th of December. (Thanks to our Parents’ Association)

Local Recycling during the Festive Season:

1 Bottle Banks and Aluminium Bank (cans) at Supervalu./2 Aluminium cans/Plastic Bottles in Oxigen Bin

2 GlassBottles at Lucan Harriers Athletic Track

3. If you have to use batteries use rechargeable ones.

Send in used stamps to school. We pass them on to I.P.C.C. (Irish Peatland Conservation Council.)

Christmas Gifts: We acknowledge the pressure on parents regarding gifts, in our school booklet each year, and I am reminding you now that saying thank youto staff is a sufficient gift to give to any of us, and is much appreciated by all of us.

Formal Registration of Junior Infants for September 2019 will take place in the school on Monday 28^th, Tuesday 29^th, and Wednesday 30^thJanuary 2019 from 10.00am to 12.o’clock.

A copy of your child’s birth certificate along with the child’sP.P.S. No. and a house utility bill will be required on the day of enrolment. Enrolment to the school is subject to the school’s enrolment policy, which has recently been updated and is available to you online on the school website. (stthomasjns.com)

Lucan Lions Club: Thanks to Lucan Lions Club for their assistance this Christmas with families in need in our school community.

Christmas Jumper/Santa Hat Day forSt. Vincent DePaul:On Friday 21^st December

(last school day) we are asking pupils/ staff /parents to wear a Christmas Jumper/ Santa Hat / Reindeer Antlers etc , and bring in €3 for St. Vincent De Paul, who support families in need in the local community.

Christmas Closing Times: Christmas Holidays begin on Friday 21^stDecember and school re-opens on Monday 7^th of January.

Junior & Senior Infants to be collected at 11.50am. 1^st & 2^nd classes at 12.o’clock.
