Grandparents’ Day: (Second Class Pupils): As part of the history curriculum we are inviting in grandparents of our second class pupils in on, Thursday 3rd October ’

@1.15pm (Ms. M. Lawlor & Mr. Burke)for a cuppa and a chance to visit their grandchild’s classroom.
Please let your child’s teacher know if they are able to attend on the day. (Grandparents only)
Pupil Insurance: This scheme has had a large take-up from parents and is now closed.
Thanks to the Parents’ Association for organising the registration of pupils in this scheme.

St. Thomas’ J.N.S. Parents Association will hold their first meeting next Wednesday 2nd October in the staff room at 8pm. All parents welcome.
Coats: Please ensure your child has a suitable coat with them on a daily basis going forward as we approach the winter months.
Second Class Parents: There is an important meeting in St. Patrick’s Church Esker next Thursday 3rdOctober at 7pm for parents of children receiving the Sacraments of First Confession and
First Holy Communion.
Also please ensure you fill in and sign the Enrolment Form for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion sent home yesterday and return to class teacher as soon as possible.
ABI Programme: The Parent’s Association will facilitate a talk on 15th October in the school hall from 7-8pm. The ABI programme is an anti-bullying programme and will be taught to first/second class pupils. The evening talk will focus on bullying cycles, how to recognise if your child is using bullying behaviours and what to do if you feel your child is being bullied.
