Retirements:
Mrs. Fiona Dwyer is retiring from St. Thomas’ this year. Fiona taught in the school for 40 years. She taught at all class levels (Junior Infants- 2nd class) and worked in both SET and EAL. She has made a wonderful, long lasting contribution to the school, particularly in the areas of music, gaeilge and Religious Education. Fiona was a wonderful friend and colleague to work with: professional, caring and always had the best interest of her pupils at heart. We will really miss having Fiona around the school and we wish her good health and happiness in her retirement. Thank you, Fiona.
Ms. Maura Egan (Deputy Principal) is also retiring from St. Thomas’ this year. Maura spent 39 years teaching in the school and much of that time was spent as Deputy Principal and Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator. Maura has been a great support to all staff and many parents over the years. Her passion lay in the area of Support and she was highly knowledgeable in her field, always there to advise and comfort. The children of St. Thomas’ adore Maura and will miss her presence in the school greatly. We wish Maura the very best of health and happiness on her retirement and thank you Maura for all you have done for our school.

School Fees: There is still a number of school fees outstanding please pay these by tomorrow.

School Holidays:School closes tomorrow Friday 28th June for our summer break.
Junior & Senior Infants to be collected at 11.50am. 1st & 2nd classes at 12 noon.
School reopens on Thursday 29th August.
