Well done! To all the children who made their First Communion last Saturday. A special thank you to the Parents’ Association for hosting the Communion breakfasts and to all the parents who came down to help set up the hall, and to those who helped with serving tea/coffee on Saturday. A special thank you to Karen Coghlan for supplying the lovely pastries on the day, and to Nicola Giles who co-ordinated the support. Your contribution greatly added to the day for all the families involved.

Every year we ask communicants to make a charitable donation, ( if they wish), to a worthy cause. This year we are supporting Scoil Mochua (Special School) Clondalkin, with whom we have a special link through one of our pupils.

New Junior Infants (Sept. ’19). Our meeting for parents of Junior Infants starting in September ’19 took place last night Wednesday 29th May. We had an excellent attendance as usual. If you were unable to attend please call to the school office to collect an information pack and the format of our familiarisation week as you will need to know which day of the week you have to bring your child in. (Mon 10th to Fri. 14th June)

Children Moving: If there are any families moving during our summer break please inform the class teacher or school office as soon as possible, if you have not already done so, as we have waiting lists for all classes. Also please let us know if you have changed address recently as we will be sending home school reports and book lists in the coming weeks. School fees payable by 21st of June.

As this is a busy term with testing, tours, sports day and school reports please inform your child’s teacher in advance if your child is going to be absent for any particular day/week.

Child Safeguarding: Parents coming on school tours this year are asked to read our updated Child Safeguarding Statement and Risk Assessment policy (available on school website under POLICIES) and sign an ‘Acceptance Form’ consenting to comply with this policy in full.

The Acceptance form is available through your child’s teacher.

This applies to assisting with all school activities going forward.

Sponsored Walk &Family Fun Day: Our Annual Sponsored walk will take place on Saturday 8th June meeting @ Griffeen Park leisure centre car park @2pm and walking back to the school for refreshments, face painting, games magic and fun.!. Remember leisure centre car parking will be limited due to Ruaille Buaille festival. All money raised assists us with restocking our classroom resources for the coming year. Your support is much appreciated and we look forward to seeing you on the day. Sponsor Cards went home this week

Children are asked not to go door to door just ask for sponsorship within their own family members.
