Art Display: St. Thomas’ Parents’ Association / Images School Art Exhibitions (imagesschoolart.com) will host a pupil’s art display on
Wednesday 5th December from 1.30pm-3pm & 5pm 7.00pm in both halls. (2 sessions)
Every pupil in the school will have a framed piece of Art on display in the hall. All art works will be numbered individually with a corresponding reference for your child. This is a social evening and not a fundraising night. All framed art pieces are available for purchase at cost. (€10). There is no compulsion to purchase, and any unsold pieces will be returned unframed to the school.
MS Readathon: Well done to all our 2nd class pupils who read so many books during Book Week and raised money for this worthy cause.Keep up the reading!
Car Parking: Canonbrook: Following an incident on Wednesday morning where a car went up on the footpath, and collided with a parent, while doing an illegal u-turn, can I remind all parents to take due care when dropping off and collecting their children. If it’s raining park at a safe location and walk your children in to/from the school yard. If you observe a parent parking illegally/ acting recklessly please report the car registration to Lucan Gardai (6667300)

Santa Clause visits Lucan Garden Centre, opposite Peamount Hospital on 8th,9th, 15th and 16th December. Phone Helen@01-5050037 to book your place. Christmas trees are also on sale with proceeds going to support services @ Peamount Hospital.
Our Christmas Carol service takes place in St. Patrick’s Church Esker at 11.10am on Wednesday 12th December. All parents are welcome.
Special Visitor: The school will have it’s own special visitor coming to meet all pupils on Friday 14th of December. (Thanks to our Parents’ Association)
Formal Registration of Junior Infants for September 2019 will take place in the school on Monday 28th, Tuesday 29th, and Wednesday 30thJanuary 2019 from 10.00am to 12.o’clock.
A copy of your child’s birth certificates along with the child’sP.P.S. No. and a house utility bill will be required on the day of enrolment. Enrolment to the school is subject to the school’s enrolment policy, which is currently being re-drafted in light of the recent Schools Admissions Act, and will be accessible on the school website or through the school office before we close in December.
