Trocaire Boxes: Please return all Trocaire boxes to school by tomorrow as Trocaire are collecting them. Thank you to all who have returned them already.

Clean-up of School Grounds / Garden Beds: This takes place on Saturday 21st April from 11am to 1 pm. Bring along any gardening tools you have access to (spade, brush, small hand-shovel etc.) Adults and children welcome and no previous experience required!

Health & Safety: Wheelie Bags are not allowed on yard as they are a health & safety concern when pupils are walking in and out of school, especially for pupils with physical disability.

Greenschools: Congratulations to Mrs Power, the Greenschools committee, our Class Reps and the whole school, on achieving our latest and 6th Green Flag (Global Citizenship). An award ceremony will be held in the Helix on 22nd of May to present the flag to our school committee. Well done to all!

School Building Project: (Update) Fire and disability certs are being lodged this week with the SDCC and we are awaiting agreement with the Dept. on a revised cost plan so we can proceed to tender stage.

School Parking :The Board of Management have issued warning letters for a small number of parents who continue to park near the school entrance or drop their children off in an unsafe manner. Please report any car registrations you observe doing so to the school office and Lucan Gardaí.

Parents’ Association : Our next meeting takes place on Monday 16th April @8pm. All parents are very welcome to come along and find out about the activities of the association.

We are also seeking assistance on Sat 28th of April from 1st class parents with the Communion breakfast. Please leave your name at the school office if you can’t make the meeting, or contact our PA Chairperson, Patricia Magill (0857563647) to let her know of your availability. Thank you,
