Seachtain na Gaeilge: Dia dhaoibh! As usual we have a number of activities taking place in the school during Seachtain na Gaeilge (12th -16th, March). Two of our classes (R.18-Ms.Maguire, R.19 – Ms. Barnes ) will visit our neighbouring Gaelscoil. (Eiscir Riada) on Monday 12th March. During the week we will be focusing on promoting the use of spoken Irish, and on Irish music and culture, and we encourage you to use “cúpla focail” (a few Irish words) at home as well. We will have lots of prizes for children ‘caught’ speaking Irish during the week.

Irish Dancing: Currently all our classes are receiving lessons in Irish dancing from Rita Doyle. This will continue next week in the run up to Seachtain na Gaeilge.
