A Chairde,

First Holy Communion

For children celebrating their First Holy Communion in 2021, children are invited to attend communion masses which will be celebrated at 10:30am on Sunday 15th and 22nd of November. The link to join the respective masses will be on the church’s website.

Book Week

We are celebrate Book Week this week and the children are engaging in lots of fun activities. These include reading challenges, daily DEAR time (Drop Everything And Read), favourite author polls, a visit from storyteller Niall de Búrca and Lucky Dips from Lucan Library. We are running an online book club for each class where you can purchase books from www.scholastic.ie. By using the online book club, the school will earn 20% commission to update our class libraries. Thank you to those of you have bought books for your child. On Friday 13th November, the children in 1st and 2nd class can come to school dressed up as their choice of book character. These fun activities are devised to engage your child in the world of books and to foster development of their reading skills, which are so central to their academic progress. Thank you to Ms. Sullivan for all her work in organising our Book Week activities.

Covid- 19

Thank you for your co-operation with our ‘drop and go’ system in the mornings. There is a lovely vibe in the mornings that keeps us all going on a chilly morning. We welcome feedback and will continue to update our School’s COVID-19 Response plan in accordance with local and national developments. Our priority to keep all pupils, staff and parents safe.
