Dear parents/guardians,

This is a short reminder that our school photographer ( County Photos will be attending tomorrow to photograph our Junior Infants individually, and under the attached social distancing protocols outlined. Please ensure your child wears their school uniform tomorrow . New pupils to the schools in other classes may also have their photographs taken. Please inform their class teacher in writing/via email if you wish for this to occur.

COVID Safe Shooting Procedures

We have implemented new procedures for our photography team and are now practicing the highest standards of COVID safe, hassle free and socially distant school photography. Together with our brand new online ordering process we have ensured that there is no risk to pupils or staff at your school from our class leading service.

• TRAINING Our photography team have undergone extensive training in preparation for our new procedures
• SIGNAGE Our photographers will display a pull up banner at the entrance to hall/room where photographs are being taken informing students of our new photo procedures
• PPE Face masks, shields, anti-bacterial & viral wipes and hand sanitiser are provided for photographers with attention being paid to wiping equipment including light and backdrop stands before use.
• SANITISATION Props, surfaces, and equipment will be disinfected throughout the day.
• SOCIAL DISTANCING Photographers will follow new posing and social distancing requirements to ensure a safe and comfortable picture day.
• PROCEDURE
• Pull-up Banner & Hand Sanitation station upon entrance to the hall/classroom where photographs are being taken.
• Cones at 2m intervals to ensure social distancing.
• Students brought to and from the photographer in pods.
• Posing adapted to ensure social distancing.
• Class groups will be a ‘photoshop composite’ designed by our in-house design team.
• If space is an issue at your school, we have tailor made gazebos available, allowing us to shoot outside.
