Beautiful Art work by 2nd Class Wonderful helpers from Ms. O’Reilly’s second class have been helping our school prepare for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations and Seachtain na Gaeilge. They have been painting images from the story of St. Patrick onto the windows at the front of the school.

Holi is celebrated on the 8th of March. It is a Hindu celebration and many of our pupil attending our school are of Hindu heritage. To all of you enjoy the festival of Holi with lots of happiness and fun. Wishing you a happy Holi! May God gift you colors of life, colors of joy, colors of happiness, colors of friendship, colors of love, and all the other colors you want to paint in your life. Happy Holi 2023

Easter Wellness Camp Join Ms. Barnes, Ms. Brazil and Ms. Doherty for yoga, breathwork, art, journaling, drama, theatre games, Easter egg hunts and much more.

Seachtain na Gaeilge: 13th-16th March

March 17th-school closure for St. Patrick's Day.

Easter Holidays: March 31st-April 14th. School returns on April 17th.

Clothing collection We welcome all kinds of unneeded clothes (clean and wearable), shoes (in pairs), hats, scarves, bags, belts, bed linen, towels and curtains. You can drop bags of clothing into the blue clothing bank beside the gates as you enter the yard. If you are doing a spring clean of your wardrobes, we would be delighted to take any unwanted clothing off your hands. All money raised will go towards buying resources for the pupils of St. Thomas’ JNS. Many thanks for your support.

St. Patrick's Day Lucan Parade

Lucan St. Patrick's Day parade organisation are running a drawing competition for all children aged 12 and under. They would like to see pupils' interpretation of St. Patrick himself. Any size or colours can be used, just send your beautiful picture to the email address lucanparade@gmail.com. The winner will receive a family pass to come join them on the stand on St. Patrick's Day. All entries are to be sent in by March 6th and the winner will be announced on the 10th March. Best of luck to everyone and they look forward to seeing all the entries.

Parents Talk Scoil Áine's PA have organised a parents talk entitled, 'Embrace the Chaos' and have kindly invited parents from St. Thomas' JNS to attend. Wednesday 8th March 8-9.15pm.
