Parent Teacher Meetings This year parent teacher meetings will take place on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd of November. They will take place face to face. Notification will be sent out over the next few days so please check your emails. This will give you access to our online booking system so you can pick a time that suits.

Primary Language Curriculum In-Service The school will close at 12 noon on Friday 25th November to facilitate staff training on the Primary Language Gaeilge Curriculum. Junior Infants and Senior Infants will finish school at 11.50am while 1st and 2nd class will finish school at 12 noon.

Spare clothes We kindly ask that parents of junior and senior infants keep a spare set of underwear, socks and trousers/leggings in their child’s bag in case of accidents. The baptism of older children will take place on the 20th November. If your child needs to be baptised, please contact the parish office.

Congratulations to Jack Browne in Ms. McDermott’s class who dyed his hair over the mid -term break raising an amazing €610 for the Irish Cancer Society! Well done Jack!

Book Week is happening next week. The children are going to be doing lots of activities such as DEAR time, reading challenges, visiting the book fair etc. On Friday 18th, Moon and Sixpence will be bringing their puppet show to our school.

Book Fair: The book fair will be open from 9.15am to 10 am and 1.30pm to 3 pm each day next week. There will be an evening opening on Thursday from 6.30 to 7.30 pm. A huge thanks to all the volunteers from the Parents Association who will facilitate this. Library Visits are also underway for Senior infants to 2nd. The junior infant classes will go after Easter. The library is an amazing resource and it would be fantastic if each child could join. It’s free and they have lots of books and run very interesting events also. Thanks to Ms. Sullivan for arranging all those events.

Book Day- On Fri 18th November, children from 1st and 2nd can come to school dressed up as a character from any book they like.
